ABSTRACT

A series of 1, 3, 4-Oxadiazole derivatives have been synthesized and evaluated for antimicrobial and antidiabetic activities. The newly synthesized compounds have been characterized by IR, H NMR and elemental analysis. All compounds have shown promising antimicrobial and antidiabetic activities when compared with standard drug ciprofloxacin and acarbose respectively. Compounds A2 ,B2 ,C1 ,D1 ,D2 ,E1 and E2 have shown promising antimicrobial activity while compounds A1 ,A2 ,B1 ,C1 ,D1 ,E1 and E2 have shown promising antidiabetic activity.
